My Process
1.
Idea
Sometimes I’m inspired to pursue an idea from other media that I like, e.g. a song that makes me feel intense emotion. Sometimes the ideas are spontaneous, seemingly out of nowhere.
2.
Plan
Once I’ve got the idea, it’s time to sketch and plan for the final outcome. Is it an album cover? A highway billboard? A poster? Is it traditional or digital? What medium should I use?
3.
Create
Time to get to work! Once I’ve got my sketches done and a plan set, I get going on making the idea a beautiful final piece. It may take a few tries and some snack breaks, but it will eventually be a clean, finished piece.
